My, my, time flies

Time to catch up...

Kyle continues to amaze us every day. He is so curious and has become quite the problem solver. He is fast, fast, fast with walking - almost running it seems. We need roller skates chasing after Kyle, and Lucy, who continues to take his toys. Kyle is talking more and more, lots to say - jargon mostly. Would love to know what he is thinking. We get "daddy" and "doggie", "mama" too. He has found his head and belly. Working on nose and ears. He tells us what a lion says - more than we would like at times. :) He is really beginning to point and communicate although getting a little frustrated the past few days. Sleep is still good. Eating is great.

Things Kyle loves: 1. Berries, berries, and more berries - blueberries are his most favorite. 2. Playing with blocks -stacking them and tearing them down. 3. The dirt and water. Bath time has become a nightly ritual. 4. Spinning himself in circles. 5. Dancing. 6. Feeding himself and making messes. 7. Playing in Lucy's water bowl. 8. Climbing the stairs. 9. The baby jogger. 10. Story time.

Our highlights the past month:

1. We did make it to Silver Falls and had a great time. Thank you to Bob and Maelynn for the backpack - Kyle loved the ride. We took Lucy too. Kyle tried to take her for a walk, only forgot to put her on the leash.

Our attempt at a self photo

2. Trip to Cannon Beach to visit Cindi's friend Michele and her family. Kyle had fun playing with the girls and getting sandy.

3. Playtime with "the girls next door"

4. Breakfasts with our friends Jon and Tammy and Uncle Jeff's family. Yummy Yummy.

5. Our highlight: The Taiwan Families Reunion in Seattle. We really enjoyed meeting other families and giving Kyle the opportunity to play. He made fast friends with Miss Holly.

On the left, Mei-Rui, our guide in Taiwan. On the right, Tien, the amazing woman who helped us every step of the way. They are sisters.

6. Kyle's first hair cut at Sit Still Kids in West Linn. Grandma and cousin Haley came.

Until next time... CCK
