Tis the Season...

We hope you all are enjoying the holidays as much as we are. This of course is Kyle's first Christmas home. We cut down our tree a few weeks ago and brought Grandma and Grandpa Farnstrom along. He loved running through the trees and picking out the perfect one.

We weren't sure how he would do with ornaments and lights, so the bottom 1/4 is bare, although he can reach higher than we thought. Ut oh. Loves to point at the lights and say "HOT". That was the only way we could teach him not to pull them off.

Once that first snow hit last Sunday, we took Kyle out to play. Nothing like A Christmas Story Part II. He fell flat on his back and couldn't get up, thanks to his great winter coat. You know the saying "I've fallen and...." yeah well that was Kyle more than a few times. Lots of smiles anyway. We went sledding with the Meaders and had great fun squealing and laughing all the way down.

Tonight we went to visit Santa. Let's just say we will try again next year. Not so much for Kyle this time. Did great until it was time to sit on his lap. They were nice enough to let us video it. Looking forward to sharing it with girlfriends when he is older....ha ha

We wish you all a safe and happy holiday and lots of joy in 2009!

Love the sledding pics. It looks like they were flying on that thing!
