We met with the birth mother and grandmother yesterday. We were both a little nervous but it went very well, but some crying from Cindi and the birth grandmother. We asked some questions of the two of them in case Cheng has any questions later on we want to give him as much information as possible. After meeting with the birth family we finally met and held Cheng. It took a little while for him to warm up to us but there was no crying from him or Cindi. Thank goodness as everyone knows the emotional stuff isn't my strongest trait. He went home with the foster family for one last night and we went to bed at 7:30 exhausted and thinking we would be out until the next morning. Nope both of us were awake at midnight so we had a little snack and arranged our suitcases as we received a bunch of stuff from the foster family. At 4:00 we took a little nap until 7:00 and started getting ready for the 10:00 am official transfer. More to come including pictures that we are having a little technical difficulties with.

How exciting. We are glad to hear the meeting went well and that you finally got to meet your new little guy. Looking forward to seeing the pictures when you can get them posted. Good luck with your jet lag.

Yea!!!! Tears are good. Sleep when you can even though it is hard to do so. Big hugs from all of us!!
