Hello!
Friday (yesterday) was our first day together. We had lunch with people from the agency and the foster mother, walked around the city and through a big water park, and then had some lunch. He fell asleep in my arms on the way back to the hotel and woke from his nap happy and smiling. He is a good baby, calm, gentle, sweet smile. He is more than I could ever imagine. We tried some baby food. He seemed to like it and smiled when he took bites. He is so happy and curious. We went out for a walk with Mei-Ru, our representative along the Love River last night. Beautiful, peaceful, lots of bridges lit up and boat rides. Lots of people walking along the river. Reminded us of the riverfront only the water is clean. :)From there, we went to the Night Market and tried some Taiwanese food. It is like a farmer's market, lots of fresh seafood and fruit...really good. No octopus for Craig. Bedtime was a breeze. Let's hope it stays that way!
Craig and I slept about 3-4 hours and woke around 12:30 or 1am this morning. We have been up since. Still tough adjusting to the time I think. Played cards in the bathroom so we wouldn't wake him. I can't wait for you all to see him. So happy and playful. We can't get pictures uploaded here...maybe in Taipei later today. We leave this afternoon on the high speed train after some more sightseeing.
We will go to the Embassy on Monday. More again soon!
Love,
Cindi and Craig

So glad to hear things are going well. We can't wait to meet him. You guys should rest the first day back, take the phones off the hook and put a sign on your door. We will be patient for the first meeting.
